Welcome to the Florida Cancer Research Network (CARES) Website!

This Website is under construction.

FL CARES is being established as part of the project “Next-Generation Biomedical Big Data Platform for Cancer Research and Collaboration Across Florida” funded by the State of Florida via the Bankhead-Coley Cancer Research program (grant number 23B16).

Cancer is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Florida and globally. Cancer research is increasingly data-driven, requiring new strategies for efficient management and analysis of cancer-related data to accelerate the development of next-generation precision medicine approaches while addressing existing health disparities.

This research infrastructure project will establish the Florida Cancer Research Network (CARES) and deploy the Florida Platform for Accelerating Collaborative Computational Cancer Research (PAC3R), to enhance Florida’s cancer prevention and treatment strategies, and reduce associated health disparities.
