Xuefeng Wang, Ph.D is currently an Associate Faculty Member and Associate Professor at Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. He completed his Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University with Robert C. Elston, and carried out his postdoctoral training at Harvard University Department of Biostatistics from 2011-2013. His previous research interest is in the area of statistical genetics/genomics, with an emphasis on statistical methodology for large scale genomic data. His work combines advanced statistical and computational modeling with diverse biological data to understand the relationship between genes, gene products, and their impact on complex human traits. His current research interests focus on developing efficient methods for multi-platform cancer genomics data.
